Zigzag Balance Bridge : RB-ZZB(C)

Description

Our Zigzag Balance Bridge for play parks is an ideal addition to any commercial organisation’s agility trail and can also be a standalone product as a feature in a play area beside outdoor dining spaces or any other visitor attraction.

Crisscrossing timbers of the Zigzag Balance Bridge for play parks allow for a challenging traverse with a set of hand rails higher up to assist and help if required. The handrails are made from high quality steel-cored multi-strand nylon ropes.

The Zigzag Balance Bridge is a combination of 6 balance beams, each 1.5m long, arranged in a zig zag. The beams are flat on top and are constructed using 16cm diameter quarter-sawn machine-rounded timbers. Each of the supporting legs are fitted with postsaver sleeves before concreting into the ground. The whole Zig Zag is 3.50m long and 1.25m wide.

The Zigzag Balance Bridge is frequently constructed using Robinia timber and many images in the gallery reflect this. Robinia has a natural preservative and requires no additional treatment. It is also a very dense and hard wood with a greater density than oak. This makes it difficult to cut or burn and hence is vandal-proof. Every piece of equipment created from Robinia wood is individual.
