Single Swing Frame : SFA

Description

Our wonderful Single Swing Frame is a well designed, solid swing frame made using beautiful round timbers for that natural look.

Help your children create lifelong memories. This simple but sturdy design is timeless and is made to last for many years to come. It is also suitable for adult use.

Our swing frames come without swing seats so you can choose your own according to the needs and age of the user. Or choose a selection and swap them when you feel like a change.

Constructed from round timbers, this product is robust and heavy and will last for many years.

As part of our commitment to the environment, all timbers are from sustainably-managed forests. We use machine-rounded, dense, Northern European softwoods that have been pressure-treated and waxed for durability.

The Single Swing Frame is supplied with ground anchors for extra stability however the ground anchors are frequently not necessary. Ground anchors work best when fitted correctly.

The swing points on the top pole are placed slightly wider in relation to the ropes on the swing seat so that the swings go back and forth smoothly, rather than wobbling from side to side.

We suggest placing one grass safety mat under the Single Swing Frame to prevent ground erosion.

This product is robust and heavy and will withstand the most active and energetic children. Children and adults with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) who enjoy excessive swinging for several hours a day, will be better suited to our Super Swing which is a Single Swing specifically designed and built for this purpose.

Don’t forget to buy a swing seat!

Our Swing Frames and Swings with Climbing Frames do not come with swing seats as standard*

This allows you to choose your own swing seats according to the age, size and ability of the child using it. There are double swing points on all our standard swing frames. All the extended swing poles only have single swing points on them – this needs to be taken into account when selecting the appropriate swing seats for your swing frame.

Our swing seats have been designed for children to use, although some are also suitable for adult use. However please note that the swing seat manufacturers recommended maximum weight is 70kg – approximately 11st.

We use polyhemp ropes that are natural looking, soft to touch and long lasting, treated to prevent rotting and degrading in sunlight.

We source our swing seats from the leading manufacturers in Europe to ensure their quality and longevity. Please note these products have a one year manufacturer’s warranty against faults.

Delivery and Installation

We can deliver and install your product all over the UK.

You can also install the product yourself and we will provide you with full installation instructions. We are always willing to offer help at the end of the phone if required.

For installation you will need to use a ratchet with a 17mm and a 13mm socket. We recommend using an impact driver which is more convenient to use. The timbers are very heavy and need to be lifted above head height so for safety reasons we suggest that at least a couple of strong people work together on the installation rather than trying to install it on your own.

To speak to our sales team about our Single Swing Frame, to help select your swing seat or for general information or any of our products please call the office on 01577 840570 or email info@caledoniaplay.com.

*with exception of our Super Swing (Additional Support Needs Single Swing) which does come with a swing seat included.
