Climbing Hold Stilts : CP-CHS(E)

Description

The Climbing Hold Stilts for schools offer a wonderful combination of balance and traversing in one product. These long timber stilts are concreted into the ground with a stepping log beside each one. A selection of colourful rock grip handles are attached to the uprights.

Each pole is 14cm in diameter and 3.0m long with 2.3m above the ground and 0.7m below the ground. The foundation hole that each pole is concreted into is 400mm wide x 400mm long by 700mm deep.

This item is priced per one stilt. We suggest four to six stilts as a good number for the average school playground.

The children will enjoy using these stilts as part of their outdoor play – they invent imaginary scenarios that include these Climbing Hold Stilts.

The safety surfacing area is 5.7 x 3.6m

This product is also an ideal addition to an agility trail along with many other items we offer. Take a look at our full selection of agility equipment here.

The timbers used are 14cm in diameter, quarter-sawn, pressure-treated and impregnated with wax, providing a more repellent surface so reducing water absorption and delaying future rotting of the timber. The bottom of the stilts are fitted with  bitumen sleeves to prevent rotting which might otherwise occur.

We suggest the use of Grass Safety Mats around the product to prevent ground erosion or take a look at other safety surfacing we can offer.
