Adapted A Frames :
Description
If you are looking for something more than our standard swing frames with the standard add-ons then we can create one of our Adapted A Frames.
This can be created to suit the of the age range of the children, the garden space or the budget available.
If there is space then we can add multiple products in a row to enable more swinging, climbing and sliding activities than normal.
By choosing a selection of swing seats to suit a variety of abilities and ages the product will be suitable for children of many ages and abilities to use at the same time. Information on choosing swing seats for different types of swing points is available here.

On occasion it may be preferable to add extended legs on swing frame attachments to add extra stability. This is not normally done unless it is to be used by young adults with additional needs who may do very rigorous swinging. Some children and young adults also find that even the smallest movement in a swing frame can be unsettling and therefore benefit from the feeling of security that extending the legs into the ground offers.
On all timbers that enter the ground we add Postsaver sleeves as standard – these are specially designed membranes fitted to the part of the timber that sits below the ground. They keep the causes of ground rot out and the preservative in, ensuring that the new piece of equipment will last for many years.

Please note: By the very nature of combining our various products and taking into account the specific requirements of our customers’ needs our various Adapted A Frames will differ from each other and therefore no two combinations are the same.

The specifications will vary depending on the final designs.
All the timbers have been pressure treated and impregnated with wax, providing a more repellent surface so reducing water absorption and delaying future rotting of the timber.
