Delivery Information – Garden Play

In the interests of the safety and wellbeing of our staff, restrictions on movement and advice regarding our courier’s operations we have not been able to despatch orders as normal from our premises for a considerable while.

We are now working through a large backlog of orders so please allow for a 3 to 4 week lead time for online orders and 4 – 5 weeks on larger units but please understand we will do our best to deliver sooner if at all possible.

For online orders from our Garden Range

Once your order has been accepted, we would, under normal circumstances, endeavour to deliver within 2 weeks providing we have it in stock at time of order. If there are likely to be any delays or issues we will let you know at the time of your order.

For other orders from our Garden Range

For smaller items and those products available via our online shop but which are ordered over the telephone, at our office or at a show, we aim to deliver within 2 weeks of placing the order under normal circumstances providing we have it in stock at time of order.

For our larger products

These include those not normally available online, such as the Forts, Castles and Playhouses. Whilst we will try our best to deliver as quickly as possible, due to the size and weight of these items please allow up to 4 – 6 weeks for delivery under normal circumstances. Under normal circumstances – we would discuss this with you when ordering. These products are either delivered by ourselves or a contractor on our behalf but not via courier.

Delivery by courier

Most of our deliveries are sent by a nationwide courier company, Tufnell’s.

They normally operate a week day service, Monday to Friday.

The couriers use a three day standard service so unfortunately at present we cannot give you a specific day that it will arrive. However the courier should contact you prior to delivery.

We advise that you count the number of packages that you have received from the courier to make sure they are all there before signing to confirm delivery. All our parcels are labelled with the package number followed by the amount of packages in the order eg 1 of 5, 2 of 5 which will let you know how many packages you ought to have and which ones, if any, are missing.

If you are not at home when delivery is made the driver will leave the goods in a safe place and advise you where left.

The courier companies we use only specify kerbside delivery. However the drivers are usually very helpful although they do not have to take the products into your garden.

Delivery by Caledonia Play

If it is a local delivery or if we are delivering the product ourselves then we will be happy to carry the product to the back garden for you.

Please note: We reserve the right to charge you with any costs reasonably incurred in the event that we or our courier are unable to successfully deliver an order due to inadequate address details provided by you or unreasonably restricted access at the delivery address that we have not been advised about.
