This case study showcases the redevelopment an existing indoor adventure play barn by creating a large open structure of large and small towers interconnected with a variety of bridges and access and exit points. The design was to invite children to explore and to be something unusual and unique that could be used all year round – even in wet weather.
Bramble Cottage is an indoor play area situated in West Lothian created by experienced child care practitioners, who had decided to create an indoor play area after they both found that there were limitations to activities in the local community. We were able to come up with a unique indoor play area which fitted extremely well into the space provided.
