Glasgow Warriors install our play equipment at local hospital

The fabulous Glasgow Warriors took some time out of their busy schedule to help with the build of a brand new sensory garden for children at an Ayrshire Central Hospital.
Backed by Crosshouse Children’s Fund, the sensory garden at Rainbow House in Irvine has been brought to life by equipment donated by Glasgow Warriors’ sponsor, Mackenzie Construction.
The generous donation covered the purchase and installation of all of the play equipment and garden furniture needed – including a log train, seating area, basket swing and plants.

Rainbow House offers community paediatric services to young people with developmental difficulties. The outdoor sensory space is an informal and friendly outdoor space for them to enjoy.

Mackenzie Construction installed a selection of our products including: Log Train with Log Carriage and Seat Carriage, Basket Swing, Musical Instruments, Planter and Bench Combinations and Magposts.

As part of the opening ceremony, the youngsters were given the opportunity to be the first to sample all the donated play equipment and the Glasgow Warriors spent the afternoon playing and engaging with the children and their families.
