Free trees for schools!

The Woodland Trust is offering free trees to schools all over the UK.

They have two delivery periods per year, one in March and the other in November. They are currently taking applications for trees to be delivered in March 2020 so there’s still plenty of time to apply.

Choose your pack(s) from an extensive list on their website. If you can’t wait until then, or your application is unsuccessful, you can buy packs in their online shop all year round.

The Woodland Trust also has a large range of excellent resources to help plan the tree planting session and to encourage learning about the trees and woodlands in general.

The Woodland Trust also provides a selection of activities that can be used in outdoor education.

These activities include leaf rubbing, bark rubbing, making leaf animals and masks and making leaf faces and muddy smiles! Take a look at the resource page here.
