We are proud to sponsor the Scottish Nursery Awards 2019

This is a new venture for us and we are very happy to be involved!

The Scottish Nursery Awards 2019 recognise and reward excellence in the Scottish early years sector. There are lots of categories to choose from including Forest School / Kindergarten Award, Nursery Room Leader Award and Nursery Training & Development Award. We sponsor the Nursery Outdoor Learning Award as we are passionate about getting children outside from a very early age whatever the weather!

The award will be presented to the nursery which has, in the view of the judges, created an outdoor ‘living classroom’ that inspires and excites children. Activities that promote physical well-being, creativity and first-hand learning experiences will be sought.

This years finalists are as follows:

  • Pamela Newton & Claire Lennon, Cadzow Nursery School
  • Christine Hamilton & Vicki Hutcheon, Castlegate Nursery & Out of School Club Limited
  • Sara Kelly, Forbes Nursery Bruntsfield, Forbes Children’s Nursery
  • Robyn Colquhoun & Dione Kilcoyne, Kirktonholme Childcare Mearnswood, Kirktonholme Childcare
  • Kerri McGuire & Farina Tavasolian, Start Bright Nursery Bonnyrigg, Start Bright Nursery

Let us help you create a great outdoor living classroom!

We have worked with many nursery schools and private nurseries to create outdoor spaces that entice the little ones outside and keep the active as well as interested in the natural environment. Our Throne Planter (shown above) offers a seating space with lots of space to grow some lovely smelling plants which also attract the bees and butterflies when in full bloom.

Our MagPost can be popped in the planter to allow the children to examine things they find in nature up close.
