Scottish Education Awards 2019 winners are announced

It’s been our great pleasure to have been at the Scottish Education Awards Ceremony 2019 again this year. It took place on Wednesday 5 June in Glasgow and was attended by three members of our team, Sarah, Susie and Kathleen who very much enjoyed hearing all the stories about the nominees and then discovering who the winners were!

Congratulations to St Albert’s Primary School for winning the Learning for Sustainability Category which we are proud to sponsor.

For more information about all the winners, categories and how to enter next year take a look at the Scottish Education Awards website.

The awards were first launched in November 2001 by the Scottish Government and the Scottish Daily Record, with the specific aims of celebrating the successes and recognising the achievements taking place within Scottish education. The Scottish Education Awards 2019 attract nominations from all over Scotland – from the larger cities to small villages on the most remote islands.

We are always very happy to help create outdoor play areas with sustainability in mind. Not only is this good for the planet but it is also sending out an important message to the young people about how the choices that are made in every area of the school environment have an impact on the planet both in the immediate future and in further years ahead.

If you are interested in having a selection of play equipment installed at your school then why not give our sales team a call on 01577 840570 or email them directly on sales@caledoniaplay.com and they can arrange a visit to your school where appropriate.
