Nominations are now open for the Scottish Education Awards 2019

Nominations are now open for Scottish Education Awards 2019.

They were first launched in November 2001 by the Scottish Government and the Scottish Daily Record, with the specific aims of celebrating the successes and recognising the achievements taking place within Scottish education. The awards attract nominations from all over Scotland – from the larger cities to small villages on the most remote islands.

There are fifteen categories to choose from – we are proud to sponsor the Learning for Sustainability Award which recognises the achievements of educational settings who have made connections between all of the different aspects of learning for sustainability to support the development of a coherent whole educational setting approach.

The award ceremony itself is a most exciting day and we very much enjoy hearing all the stories from the nominees.

For more information about last year’s winners, the various categories and how to enter take a look at the Scottish Education Awards website.

We are always very happy to help create outdoor play areas with sustainability in mind. Not only is this good for the planet but it is also sending out an important message to the young people about how the choices that are made in every area of the school environment have an impact on the planet both in the immediate future and in further years ahead.

Contact sales@caledoniaplay.com or call the office on 01577 840570 for further information on how we can help you to do your bit for the planet.
