Family Basket Swing with Double Extension : FBSXX

Description

This is our Family Basket Swing with Double Extension and it is our standard Family Basket Swing with a top pole that is extended on both sides to accommodate one more swing on either end.

The swing seats are not supplied with the product so you can choose your own according to the size, ability and age of the users.

It is extremely robust and heavy using larger poles than our standard swing frames in order to support the heavy basket.

The basket is suitable for groups of children as well as adults to use. It has an internal galvanised steel ring, 16mm herculean rope and conforms to safety standard EN1176.

The Family Basket Swing with Double Extension is designed to be freestanding and does not need to be concreted into the ground.

We recommend the use of grass safety mats under the swing to reduce ground erosion.

The extended swing pole is able to take swing seats with double or single swing points as required.

Specification

The 1.2m diameter basket has an internal galvanised steel ring, 16mm herculean rope and conforms to safety standard EN1176

10cm Machine rounded timber legs support a 14cm diameter top swing pole

Timber legs are held into position with 3.0m x 10cm half round stretchers

Universal joint stainless steel casting swing pivot points, secured by M16 threaded bar and fitted with mounting cap bolt

Frame structure is strengthened with 4 diagonal bracers, each secured with 4 x M8 bolts

Basket height from ground 400mm

All the timbers have been pressure treated and impregnated with wax, providing a more repellent surface so reducing water absorption and delaying future rotting of the timber.
